Foreclosures Reopen in Frogtown

In late April, PPL and the Greater Frogtown Community Development Corporation co-hosted an open house showcasing a newly-renovated duplex.

The duplex, located along the Central Corridor Light Rail Transit line on University Avenue, was the first of 14 rental properties to be renovated for families with lower incomes. St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and City Council Member Melvin Carter III attended the open house, praising the partnership for its efforts to increase the availability of affordable rental housing in Frogtown, which is known for its high number of vacant, foreclosed properties.
